Welcome to the General Assembly of the WGMM

We are pleased to invite you to the 2025 General Assembly of the Working Group on Monitoring Methodologies (WGMM),

The WGMM was founded in 2024 by over 50 companies and associations across the automotive and fuel value chain. The group evaluated and assessed 11 technology options to verify the use of CO₂-neutral fuels in road transport which could support the EU climate goals, in compliance with future CO₂ standards, and published a comprehensive report with key technological findings. In 2025, the group broadened its scope to engage with policymakers, civil society, and industry, aiming to serve as a trusted partner for EU institutions and Member States.

The GA will be an opportunity for members to come together, assess the work developed in 2025 and plan the activities of 2026, a pivotal year for the automotive and fuel industries.
